Lunch at VegNews

Bright and clear after cold an rainy, here on Tuesday.  L-Taraval scenic route to 47th and Wawona.  Get off one stop early, walk up the block, blue bouncing off the walls of the scale model homes of the outer Sunset, turn the corner onto Wawona, and the table is set.  Two card tables, chairs, small table cloths moving in the breeze.  Its warm, i'm not in the office (not something I need to worry about for much longer) and I get to play with everyone at VegNews for a few hours.  Aurelia made lunch, a very tasty dish of noodles and veggies, (with plenty of salt I might add).    Fun talking about the new job, everyone is curious about google and what my experience there will be like.  Loved hearing about all their new things, got to taste some wedding cakes for an upcoming article, heard all about Daryl Hannah and dinner at Millennium, talked about doing some work with them, too, another exciting possibility. 

I need to write up an article pitch for Aurelia on the idea of the stranger in a strange land transition from law to cooking.
